There are "HRM Babies" groups for most recent years (so like HRM Babies 2019 or 2022). They'd be a good start.

There is a FB group Halifax Pram Pushers that organizes group walks each week. I haven’t joined yet with my 2mo but I plan on it soon now that the weather has gotten nicer

They are great! I went all last fall, they have daily walks so it's super easy to go to one. And they are all super nice people. I'm back at work now unfortunately or I'd still be going.

Check out @birthbabysleep. She organizes “mom chats” weekly at Halifax shopping Center

I think perhaps they’re looking for a group that doesn’t always meet during working hours. So many mom & baby groups occur during the day which sucks for us rat race folks who have toddlers.

I don't know if that's what OP meant but I would love this.

Right? The third floor of the discovery Center would be the perfect spot. Open early on a Sunday, coffee, relatively safe environment for toddlers.
