Modena? Do you mean *Medina* Valley? It’s not part of the city of San Antonio, and most of that area isn’t even in Bexar County.

If you don't live within the city limits of San Antonio, then you don't vote for the Mayor of San Antonio, nor San Antonio city council members, nor the proposed city charter amendment - because they actually don't apply to you.

If you live in Bexar County but outside the San Antonio city limits, then your elected local representatives are the Bexar County Judge (Peter Sakai) and your County Commissioner (you'd be in Precinct 1, so Rebecca Clay-Flores). Sakai's current term ends in 2026, and Clay-Flores' term ends in 2024, so (unless they leave office early) that's when you'll be able to vote for those offices next.

If you live in Medina Valley ISD, you _do_ have races on your ballot this election: you will be voting for an At-Large member of the MVISD school board, and you'll be voting on MVISD's bond election. So study up on the options and get out there and vote!

You don't pay city taxes and you're not in one of the city council districts. Not all of Bexar county can take part in this election.

I don't get it because in my case we are in bexar county & not in Castroville. We are in Medina valley school district though.

Medina Valley school district is based in Castroville, Medina county. The state of Texas prohibited the city of San Antonio from extending its boundaries beyond Bexar county. While Medina county is certainly influenced by San Antonio, they are in fact separate entities politically.

Checks to see you are within the sa district maps. We have 10 districts. Medina valley is not considered part of san antonio city limits

Can someone explain to me why Modena Valley area is not considered a part of San Antonio when it comes to voting???  We vote in SA but don't get a voice. I don't get it at all. Can someone explain pls!
