Todays episode of “Is it Florida or Fascism?”
The line gets blurrier and blurrier everyday.
Edit: typo
Fascism, not facism.
Thanks, knew swipe to text would get me eventually haha.
DeSantis is the only Republican "leader" right now besides Trump. Who else are the Republicans going to run? Who else could they run?
The totally not republicans are going to somehow miss this post.
It can't happen here
Ron DeSaster strikes again.
Pretty common practice. Jay Inslee ran for President collected a paycheck from the state and taxpayers paid for his travel to run and got 0% in the primary.
Also see Bill Clinton, W, Al Smith, Tim Pawlenty etc...
Good for them. If Floridians support such a bill, so be it.
I dont get why people get voted down for saying that. They were only 1 of 5 states that still had the law.
Because it's me saying it. Most of the users of this sub don't like Libertarian points of view.
DeSantis really lives rent-free in a lot of users of this subreddit's minds. It's like they went from Trump to DeSantis overnight.
Oh hey look one of the guys that never criticize republicans unless you can blame democrats.
It’s no surprise you don’t even touch the topic. I guess something is diffe(R)ent.
It's like they went from Trump to DeSantis overnight.
Some of us are capable of caring about multiple things at once. Both Trump and DeSantis are vile politicians with deeply authoritarian agendas. Libertarians should be talking about them; they’re some of our most dangerous enemies.
For someone who constantly complains about politicians, you sure do spend an awful lot of time carrying water for conservative ones.

Well it would fit with how republicans seem to hate democracy.
How so?
Limiting the pool of candidates...well, period, but especially based on an arbitrary number of years served seems blatantly anti-democratic. The people should be able to vote for whoever they damn well please, even if it is someone like Mr. DeSantis.
