Took my last 2mg, down from RC 80mg equivalent in 7 months!
Excited to finally be off this stuff. Have taken it for about 4 years, at first taking diazepam then when that got cut off bought diclazepam and then bromazolam which skyrocketed my tolerance.
It's been a rough 7 months to say the least, but am very excited to finally take my last pill. Absolutely crazy to think I have literally not gone a day in about 4 years without taking some form of a benzo.
I know it could get rough yet, but the last few drops since 6mg have been a lot easier than before that. Honestly, severely dry eyes are my worst symptom right now, which compared to my other symptoms is a breeze.

That’s a huge accomplishment but don’t get too cocky. I would still be very careful, I honestly wouldn’t jump from 2mg to nothing I would still taper down to .5mg or even .25. Seizures are still very possible for you and all the withdrawals might get a shit ton worse if you drop to nothing from that dose. Just be careful man it’s heartbreaking to see people trying to get off this stuff, then they die from having too many seizures because they dropped too fast. Again be careful brother!! I’m not ready to taper yet but I love seeing everyone else doing it
I appreciate the advice, I'm doing this under the recommendation of a doctor who specializes in addiction and has brought many people off benzos even at doses as high as mine.
And even from my internet research I think 2 mg is below seizure risk, even the Ashton manual says to jump from 1 mg.
I do understand that I shouldn't be cocky when it comes to withdrawal symptoms and being in misery, but I am quite confident any risk of a seizure is gone.
