pc keeps shutting down randomly after installing new graphics driver
My pc has started shutting down completely randomly even when no apps are open. The weird thing is that even though it "shuts down" the lights are still on and the cpu fan is still spinning. This didn't happen before I upgraded my Nvidia drivers, although even when I rolled back to a previous version the crashes still happen. I've tried everything from following youtube tutorials to reapplying thermal paste and I have no idea what to do anymore. any help would be greatly appreciated. Below there is a list of my computer parts for anyone interested.

Since you mention that this happens after upgrading the nvidia driver, it's likely that some conflicting files were left behind from a previous driver version, which is now causing problems. even when doing a clean driver install through the nvidia driver installer, it does not clean up everything and so issues may remain.
To resolve it, my advice is to use the well-known tool DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely uninstall the nvidia drivers and any leftovers, and then clean reinstall the latest nvidia driver.
Download DDU here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-get/display-driver-uninstaller-download,1.html
After downloading, unzip the downloaded file and then reboot windows into safe mode, and then run DDU. Leave all options at their defaults and select Nvidia. For any questions the tool asks, just use the default options. After the tool is done, the PC will restart and install some generic low-performance video driver. Depending on your screen and GPU this may mean your screen resolution is set to something lower than normal.
After DDU is done and the PC has rebooted, install the latest nvidia drivers and check the "clean installation" box in the installer. This will also restore the screen resolution if the generic driver lowered it.
thanks alot! I will definitely do this! I will tell you how it went
