What design do you want to see on the new euro banknote?
Euro banknote is getting third series design by 2024: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euro_banknotes#Third_series
The design follows the "age and style" motiff, and cannot favor any one member states.
The current theme is "architecture", so each note features a bridge / window of different era.
But what other ideas are there?
- Music: Music note or frequency wave? Might be a little boring though.
- Painting: Historic moments in different painting styles
- Engineering: Technology breakthroughs across ages - loom, clock, engine, computer, etc.
- Nature: Native wildlife (similar to Brazil)

I would honestly love it if we’d get famous European historical figures like Alexander, Charlemagne, Socrates, Julius Ceasar, Robert Schuman or the rest of the founding fathers of the EU, Da Vinci, Galileo etc etc
I’m not so sure about people like Alexander, Charlemagne, or Caesar since we are trying very much to distance ourselves from the Empires of the past and not be called a “New Roman Empire”.
The rest I would be very much in favour for despite loving the architectural focus of EU notes.

But yeah figures like scientists, artists and philosophers would be more neutral and better, you’re right.

Given that Caesar brought down the Roman democracy it'd be more appropriate to put Brutus on the notes.

People like Alexander, Charlemagne and Caeser who were ruthless conquerors might not be the best look.
