Hear me out.

Let's say the community crowdfunds money to purchase ZAUM shares from Ilmar Kompus - thereby persuading him to relinquish majority-share control of the company - that might solve the IP issue and clear the path to Disco Elysium 2.

Here's how to do it.

The community has to set up a non-profit trust in Estonia (let's call it "ZAUM Trust" for now) with the following stated mission:

  1. To act in the best interest of the Disco Elysium players at all times.
  2. To protect the artistic and creative integrity of the Disco Elysium franchise.
  3. To ensure ZAUM studio is never under total control of a single entity ever again.
  4. To ensure the founding members of ZAUM Cultural Assoc

Rough timeline of Hollow Knight development:

  • 2014: Hollow Knight begins kickstarter
  • 2017 Feb: Hollow Knight official release
  • 2017 Aug: 1st DLC release
  • 2017 Oct: 2nd DLC release
  • 2018 Apr: 3rd DLC release
  • 2018 Aug: 4th DLC release

Overall, the game took around 4 years to reach its current form. So all things being equal, it doesn't seem that outrageous to think Silksong would take roughly the same time to come out.

Since Silksong was announced in 2019, four years later would be 2023.

Just thinking out loud because some people seem very resistant to the idea that Silksong could still release this year.

We know there are countries that used FPTP in the past, but later transitioned to PR (e.g. Denmark).

But historically speaking, what are the political conditions that facilitated these transitions?

In order to reform any electoral system, the incumbent politicians must agree to alter the very systems that produced them. Understandably, many would be resistant to the idea, as a new system might disadvantage them in the next election.

I'm asking because if people know how electoral reforms happened historically, we might have a better idea of how to replicate the same reforms in the future.

Euro banknote is getting third series design by 2024: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euro_banknotes#Third_series

The design follows the "age and style" motiff, and cannot favor any one member states.

The current theme is "architecture", so each note features a bridge / window of different era.

But what other ideas are there?

  • Music: Music note or frequency wave? Might be a little boring though.
  • Painting: Historic moments in different painting styles
  • Engineering: Technology breakthroughs across ages - loom, clock, engine, computer, etc.
  • Nature: Native wildlife (similar to [Brazil](https://en.wikipedia.org

Is Lace void?

Discussion/Questions

This is NOT a Vornet meme post.

I discovered recently that Steel Assassin Shape is made of void. There are sprites of him extending void tendrals from his body.

This makes me wonder whether Lace is also void, since she looks very void-y.

PS: And no, Hornet is not void. End of story.
