First one took forever, tried so hard to keep things aligned. Oh well. I'm fine with the result, no worries.
Part way through the second, I started using chalk lines. That helped. Turned out more like caterpillars than rays. I also may have created as much damage as I fixed. Kept making holes at the 'turn around' end of my runs.
Lol, got overenthusiastic with the scissors too.
Working with cloth is really unfamiliar, still uncomfortable.
So many great colors of embroidery thread.
Plenty more I want to mend.
