We are the headwaters for the Los Angeles Aqueduct. On April 1st the elevation of the surface of Mono Lake was measured as 6379.99 ft. A lake level at or above 6380.00 ft determines whether the LADWP may divert 4,500 vs 16,500 acre-feet of water.

It wasn't some poor-taste April Fool's joke. I checked.

To me, it looks like they used binoculars and a stick.

So, this raised a host of questions for y'all. Please go ahead and answer the questions I should have asked.

Edit: It's no less dramatic, but with more thought, probably much less interesting. I bet they installed that stick, me

I can't figure out which setting I messed up. All old.reddit links are opening in the browser.

I'm at x₂ and it seems like there's plenty ahead. For now, d(db) < db/30 is treating me pretty well. I get frequently get stuck when I need to swap 2 tiles in the torus. Peeked are the expert-level arrows and turned around.

Hey, every winter a couple(?) rabbits take refuge from the snow under my porch. I would like to show them appreciation for all their hoppy footprints with an occasional snack or something. If it wouldn't be harmful. I imagine some nutrients or high-calorie foods might be difficult to find in the winter? California, Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains.

(I understand if this isn't really appropriate for the sub)

In the early 2000s, we were playing a lot of ROMs in MAME. I think this was an older game from some console. The pixel graphics had to be scaled up several times to be legible on a 1024x768 monitor. Color scheme was 16-bit or lower. I can't remember if we played on local network, split-screen, or a hybrid enabled by MAME, but it was definitely intended to be 2-Player.

The timed build phase is where this game shines. The players have a top-down view of their bases on a field. The fields have varying density of obstacles, and possibly size. Players are presented with tetrominoes to build defensive wall segments. Each tetromino will stick in position after a timed interval.
