Is Addaura defunct?

I remember watching their KEXP appearance years ago but haven’t seen anything since. Any other related projects?

A year or so before the pandemic I heard from a few of them that they might be done, soon after Dustin moved cities and I'm surprised to see they released a single in 2021. I hope they keep it up, they're an excellent live band, their last EP was killer and they're all genuine cool guys.

They played Litha Cascadia last year (and fucking killed it!).

Not defunct. My friends' band Dawn of Ouroboros played with them in Tacoma recently.

Where'd they play in Tacoma? Still trying to learn the venues around here.

That place is a dump in the best way. I missed out on this gig you're talking about so I gotta start keeping a better eye on their schedule.

Ehh, im in the band mentioned who played with Addaura. I'll say im not much of a fan of that place. But Addaura was fun to play a show with.

I unfortunately don’t have an answer but just wanted to say addaura is (was??) extremely underrated.

Was kinda afraid this might be the case when their stuff disappeared from Spotify, although that can also be just an intentional choice on their part. Really hope they aren’t done, absolutely loved their debut album.
