i5-3570k - Following OC guides but getting errors/issues not covered in the guide. Help?
Followed this guide and then went back to default and tried this guide and stopped at the same point in both guides.
Both guides basically say to increase the multiplier, test, and repeat until you get a BSOD and then what to do with each different BSOD. However, I'm not getting BSODs:
Starting from default and using the 2nd guide, I got to a 44x multiplier, stable, without touching anything else other than the initial settings. When I went to 45x, I booted into windows just fine but during the prime95 test, HWMonitor crashed. That's obviously a sign that something needs to be fixed, but the guides only deal with BSODs.
What setting do I change from here?
