[1115] Turn the Waste of Space Into Ash

[trigger warning: this story contains a suicidal depressed main character and is largely about her struggles with that, so don’t read my story if anything relating to that topic and mental health would be too much.]

With that being said, just in case, here’s the synopsis of this writing piece.

This writing acts as the first chapter to one of my novels, however the novel in question is the third installment in a series so you can assume while reading this anything lacking in context like characters or whatever mentioned here have been set up elsewhere.

The plot of this novel is a slice of life fantasy about our main character Myra who is a cyclopes that’s struggling with suicidal feelings because she’s living in a society where Creatures (vampires, cyclopses, shapeshifters, humanoid animals etc,) coincide with humans, but are often oppressed by humans within this modern fantasy society.

That’s the only way I can think to describe the novel, as I feel it’s better read than described.

In terms of critique I’m really just looking for any feedback you want to give me as I’m in the editing stages of my novel and could use some outsider opinons.
