[TOMT] [album] Looking for a late 1990s ish indie rock album, possibly early/mid 2000s.

It's got a big sun on the front with some text on the sun. Please give me some album names that match this description. Please note that there are no people on the cover, it is just a big sun with some text.

The worst part is that I think it may have been a blue moon on the cover instead of a big yellow sun, but I can't remember which one is the correct one. It is not the REM greatest hits album.

Any idea where the band might have come from? You mention REM - would that have been something you’d listen to normally? The blue one rings more bells with me - will give it a think but we’ll get there!

Not particularly, I don't listen to that era very much or REM, but I was trying to look for it myself. The cover of In Time: The Very Best of REM has a similar looking picture. I am having a hard time pinning down the sound of the song.

I remember listening to it a lot on Spotify, but I'll try and add any information I can remember.

Thanks for that extra info. I think I might have been thinking of that exact album…the only other one I can think of is Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness by Smashing Pumpkins but probably just cos it’s in the sky at night. Someone will get it for you I’m sure 😊

Admittedly, it's probably the worst drawing I've ever made. Thinking about it more, I am almost sure that the cover is a yellow sun, with orange-ish block letters. The album cover has a picture that's much more round.

When I look on google I see some blue variations, could be it maybe

Blue by Third Eye Blind has a blue sun on the cover. I could also be Parachutes by Coldplay.

Checked both, it is neither of these. I believe the band had very few streams (less than a million per song on the album, although this could be untrue as of today).

Probably too big but maybe Summerteeth by Wilco. The deluxe version has a blue tint.
