[TOMT][Music] Classical piece with simple Oboe-ish melody (doo, do-do-doo, do-do-doo~) later mirrored by strings

Pending

I woke up remembering this classical (I think, could be soundtrack etc.) melody from a woodwind (or brass, at least blown instrument). I don't think the key/notes here are right (especially the last note sounds wrong! the first half is more accurate) but this is the rough idea: https://vocaroo.com/1lE5HptcxPjd. I think the actual piece would be slower too.

By memory, it's mostly the woodwind repeating the melody a few times, and there might be something like a plinky piano arpeggiating in the back, then I believe it it "kicks in" with the strings mirroring the melody dramatically.

I want to add more info but I feel like I could be guessing or misremembering! If there's anything I can add, please let me know. Like they might shift the melody up, for example, but I'm not sure.

Appreciate the guess! I don't know if it makes sense but the part in mind was simpler, just leaning on the repeated motif. Thanks again!

No worries. I have one other guess which is quite different to my first one but probably isn't right either.

It's the theme from a TV show called 'Heidi' from 1978. Not to be confused with the film of the same name from the 1960s.

I know it's probably wrong but it helps people to search when you say why a guess doesn't match, if that makes sense. Like you did with my first guess. It's actually really helpful to know why a guess isn't a good fit.

Good luck!
