Please recommend a light that can light up a rock climbing crag (approx 50x50') for night climbing outdoors
Want to use 2x, spend less than 400. Would be helpful if it can stand itself up. Hopefully a better version of this: https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/2361-20

I feel like headlamps would be way better for this application.
Shining this onto a rock face just means you’ll be climbing with a hard shadow, no?
Yeah maybe our headlamps are enough, agree on the shadow.
Would be nice to have for camp etc. Not even sure if this product exists outside of Pelican Case's very expensive products
A Sofirn LT1 might be a good choice. It’s a lantern.
Really good battery life and durability.
Would that throw light 30'?
No. It would be great for a campsite and I would use the headlamps for the actual climbing.
There is an OLight work light that miiight be a good option. I think it’s called the “Odiance” or something.
u/spicy3d might be a good person to ask! They do a lot of caving and I think climbing too.
I think this and a headlamp would be best. The climbers body will class a shadow blocking out the handholds so headlamp is needed. But the big floodlight will illuminate food holds and the climber so the belayer can see what they're doing.
Ah! That makes sense!
