:( stupid vent.

I had my first day of school and Im gonna have the worst year, I have bad people in my classes. and my band best friend (met in band +been friends for a while) have no classes together. I don’t think he really cares. I don’t think he even realizes Im alive. he’s the only friend I’ve only lost once. because of someone else. he’s someone who’s Beth with me thru every thing and I don’t wanna seen like a pick me for having many guy friends. It’s stupid to be upset now. He’s just a boy, just a friend I may lose. I’m sorry for whoever reads this. I’m just sad. I love him so much (as a frien) and never wanna lose him. bye I guess. I’ll try to say hi tmmr. </3

Can you try hanging out with him at lunch. And maybe ask him what he feels about you to get an honest opinion. And it might be hard, but good people go unnoticed often so see if there’s some people in your classes that might be good people to hang out with. Don’t let a few people bad people decide how your year goes, I believe in you

high school can be really tough, especially when it feels like you're losing friends. it's a right ol’ pain in the arse, for sure. now, about your band mate, it sounds like you really value your friendship with him. don't you fret overthinking, 'cause sometimes people just don't realize how their actions (or lack thereof) can impact others.

tell you what, maybe you should talk to him about how you're feeling - explain him the situation whenever you find the right moment. just remember, that while it's important to value our friends' feelings, it's just as essential to not let their actions overwhelm us emotionally (easier said than done, i know - but still worth the effort.)

and hey, it's perfectly okay to vent. holding in all that stress doesn't do anyone any favors. spill out your feelings, let your heart breathe. i'm here for you, ok?

I asked my friend to say hi to him for me and we have a joke of either ”tagging” each other in the hallway or calling each other a name and he tagged me in the hall. Ik that doesn’t seem like much but at least he did something that keeps the light in our friend ship there :)

it shows that there's still a connection. remember, friendships have their ups and downs, but what's important is the bond you share. hang in there, and keep doing your best to keep that light shining.
