Views and AJAX update.

Hello everyone. Im working on a website where people can submit personal schedules and Im trying a new way of data entry on the site.

I have a view of "Schedule Items", a table. Each contentitem has 3 fields, which are editable in place with the module editablefiels.

At the top of the view I have a button that adds a new "schedule item" to the view.

Currently after that I reload the page with javascript and the new item appears in the view. Is there any way I could update my view with AJAX without the fulll page reload. A problem is Im not so good at AJAX so please ELI5 or show me were to start.

Im using D6. Grateful for any feedback.

Bummer. In drupal 7 in Views, there is an option under ADVANCED to use AJAX. Maybe this exists in Drupal 6?

There is an option D6 views that activates AJAX for "paging, table sorting and exposed filters". Could I perhaps hook into that functionality? Problem is just: I dont know how to "activate" the AJAX refresh.

Sorry man, I don't know. :( Have you tried posting in http://drupal.stackexchange.com? They are pretty good over there, at least as good as an open-source community can be when you ask a question.

Not sure if I'm understanding you right, but are you wanting to do something like this: http://tristandenyer.com/demos/dynamic-form.html ?
