I'm working on a project where external program has to be called. The program fetches som x-ray pictures tied to a number of ID data strings that I must pass along as arguments. The program will come up in front and the user can work with the scanning.

The string to "execute" should look something like:

"d:/xray.exe -D13923515.CFG -F38928983 -Jdelightlevel=23,layer=2 -Mp.garbrandt"

I also have the secondary option to make my own EXE that starts the interface via a DLL call as long as I somehow can get the arguments to my EXE via some kind of protocol/api/?

How do one go about to do this in 2018? The installation will be at a clinic and I have control over which exact browser and plugins

I bought my Vive on Black Friday at Elgiganten online. There was a 1 week waiting time, as it was out of stock but then the box came with the new sleeker 3-in-1 cord.

I have previously read that some who bought at Webhallen on the same day got the older cord. Webhallen has since been out of stock so maybe their new stock will have the newer cord.

Hello everyone. Im working on a website where people can submit personal schedules and Im trying a new way of data entry on the site.

I have a view of "Schedule Items", a table. Each contentitem has 3 fields, which are editable in place with the module editablefiels.

At the top of the view I have a button that adds a new "schedule item" to the view.

Currently after that I reload the page with javascript and the new item appears in the view. Is there any way I could update my view with AJAX without the fulll page reload. A problem is Im not so good at AJAX so please ELI5 or show me were to start.

Im using D6. Grateful for any feedback.
