How happy are you with your collection?

I don't think anyone was pleased with the direction of card acquisition over the past few months. But as someone that's been playing since global launch, the past month has been great. Tons of variants and was able to acquire the cards I wanted from this month's releases.

At this point, I'm only missing 5 cards - Stegron, Jean Grey, Howard, Echo and Mirage. I'll probably pin Stegron and save up tokens and then get Jean from the September cache.

Anyone else happy with their collection?

Also note I'm not FTP. I do buy the seasons pass every month. Is the experience worse for free to players?

Very content.

Have basically every card I'm even remotely interested in right now. Mostly just focusing on collecting variants honestly.

Same. Sure, I’m missing ~15 cards but I have all the ones I need. Missing Jeff but it’s really not a huge deal. I’m content with C3r3bro

I am I. The same boat as you. I buy the battle pass and I’ve gotten Thanos, Legion, Mirage, x23, silk, silver samurai, Spider-Man 2099 and stature with spotlights and tokens. I’ve been playing since November and out of the 6 cards I don’t have, the only one I want is Jean Grey and maaaybe Galactus. I’ll also have the resource to at least get all the new cards next month too. So really it doesn’t feel as bad as I first anticipated. Just gotta be strategic with your stuff. Still a lot of valid criticisms absolutely, but it really isn’t that hard to get new cards.

My biggest gripe is that every time I try to stop using Shuri/Zero, I get slapped in the mouth and reminded why I should have never left.

"Oh boy I really dig this new meta move list, lemme tweak it a little and- jesus christ that's 3 Wong combo decks in a row and somehow Spider-Man keeps failing to stop the problem."

And thus we go back to "me dump big stats, me play interference if opponent tries to stop me, me also avoid priority / Shang in like 4 different ways".

I'm very happy with my collection. I'm 100% free to play since last October. I'm missing something like 13 cards. The main "important" cards I'm missing are Galactus and Nimrod. Outside of those two, I feel like I can play any deck I want.

I miss getting new cards. Now I spend months saving up spotlights so I can get 1 I want

Honestly that's just becoming S3 complete. I only got ~1 S5 a month previously. The timing with spotlights is an annoying wrinkle but the rate is fine.

Admittedly, I haven't cared about series drops in a while either (maybe only had one good month after I was S3 complete) so even those stalling out hasn't had me in a bad mood.

Nah I got cards like Knull, Darkhawk, Superskrull etc on the track through random caches; now to get any of those cards I'd have to save up like 2 months worth of unlocks

You mean with the improvements to the system? Plenty of people are pleased with them.

I only visit reddit and not anywhere else. The sense I got from here was that the introduction of Spotlight Caches was a terrible idea.

So I've been pleasantly surprised with the new cards and variants I've acquired since Legion was released.

I'm fairly happy with my collection. Only missing 11 cards. Also, I have Legion pined in my Token shop and I want Iron Lad. I was lucky enough with spotlight caches this week - Silver Samurai, Jeff, Spiderman 2099.

Great, honestly. I’m only down one card I consider to be meta relevant, Jeff. And I’ll have him next week if I’ve timed my caches well.

Happy with my collection and I like the direction card acquisition has gone.

For context, I retired from Hearthstone with tens of thousands of dust. I couldn’t ever pull the trigger on what to craft thinking I’d open a golden version of whatever I crafted in my next pack. Tokens are the same for me, I’d hold them waiting for the next thing.

F2p players are missing mostly from 10 to 20 cards as of now. (Players who started with global release)
