Blue iris issue after power outage (complex problem, probably simple solution?)

Hey there. I set up Blue Iris with 4 hikvision cameras several years back and can't quite remember how it all worked so I'm hoping I can get a bit of help getting my system back up. After a power out, BI is no longer seeing the cameras. SADP is still seeing the cameras and the IP addresses look correct (link) but still the errors. I also can't access the cameras directly through the browser for some reason (I recall you have to use IE and point to the IP address with either the port or HTTP port appended after a colon, but no luck with either).

I'm pretty sure I could hard reset the cameras and redo everything, but I'd really prefer not to if there's something obvious I'm missing. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If you can not access the cameras with a browser then BI cant see them either, can you ping the ip address's? you might try just browsing the IP address's without the ports as usually cameras in general are either port 80, 8000 oor 443 if you are using https.

Hope this helps

Solved. Posting in case someone finds this some other day. Prompted by your response, I did think it was weird SADP could see the camera but the browser/BI could not. Googled a bit and realized my router changed its IP from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1 . So it was just a matter of going into SADP and changing the cameras to 192.168.1.X and then pointing BI to the correct IPs. Thanks!!

It's not a "Blue iris issue" if you can't access the cameras independent of BlueIris, it would have similar difficulties. Whatever the issue, you need to get the cameras back on your network so you (and BlueIris) can access them.

It’s strange that two of the cameras have a different port identified, unless you did that on purpose.

Check in BI which IP addresses it thinks the cameras are at. Maybe they don’t have static IP and after the power out got new IPs assigned to them.

Solved, see above. I had changed the ports manually a long time ago and then realized everything was working halfway through and decided not to bother changing the other two (or maybe I added them as replacements for other water-damaged cameras and just didn't change the ports, either way). Seems the router changed its own IP, not the cameras, but the cameras had static IPs and everything else dynamic and that's why those are the only things that failed. Thanks.
