Hi all. I just got a Solar E-clipse 2.0 Race and something is confusing me. The bike has a Li-ion battery and the documentation all says to charge the battery immediately after every use. This runs counter to everything I thought I knew about batteries these days, which is that it's best to keep it around 70% charge and certainly avoid going to 100% or 0%. I even contacted support and they confirmed to keep it at 100% all the time. Would appreciate any better insight.
Hi all. I recently got a nice raise at work and want to finally get an electric scooter, if there is a good candidate out there. I remember there was a nice BMW one some 10 years ago and I've seen articles here and there over the years, but it's never clear if they're actually coming to the US. So the question is, are there nice electrics available these days, ideally sub-$10k ? My only real requirement is that it should be able to comfortably go 65 mph or so, so I can take it on the highway for short bursts when needed. Thanks for any recommendations! .... oh, I guess I should mention, I'm open to the idea of electric motorcycle as long as it doesn't require manual gear shifting.
just driving by O'Hare and there's a plane engulfed in flames. anybody know what's going on? it was hard to get a pic or video
Hey, I posted this to the MS forums and got one response, but he never responded to my reply. I feel like I'm pretty close to solving this but need a little help.
OP:
Having a very strange issue on my 3 month old laptop. It was fine yesterday, didn't do anything new. Today it boots to startup recovery, to do anything I have to enter my Bitlocker key (which I've done around 30 times now). Somehow, I managed to get to Windows. However, the C drive (the OS drive and the only hard drive attached to the computer) says it is inaccessible - access is denied. A few files also failed to launch on startup. I've tried chkdsk, no failures. Going through recovery to cmd, the computer sees the C dri
Hey, sorry to bother but I can't figure out what I've done wrong anywhere on the internet. I finally decided to upgrade from firmware 1.6, so I went to update atmosphere/hekate/sigpatches. I put atmosphere-1.7.1-master-39c201e37+hbl-2.4.4+hbmenu-3.6.0 on the device alongside hekate_ctcaer_6.2.1_Nyx_1.6.3 and the latest sigpatches. i updated fusee.bin . And ultimately I've been treated to this error message, never seeing Atmosphere (the Nintendo Switch logo does show though). Any idea what my next step should be? Strangely, I can hard power off and then if I turn it on, it goes straight to stock. https://photos.app.goo.gl/a9t5ng1GheKBNAFq6
Hey there. I set up Blue Iris with 4 hikvision cameras several years back and can't quite remember how it all worked so I'm hoping I can get a bit of help getting my system back up. After a power out, BI is no longer seeing the cameras. SADP is still seeing the cameras and the IP addresses look correct (link) but still the errors. I also can't access the cameras directly through the browser for some reason (I recall you have to use IE and point to the IP address with either the port or HTTP port appended after a colon, but no luck with either).
I'm pretty sure I could hard reset the cameras and redo everything, but I'd really prefer not to if there's something
Basically, I'd like to be able to press some key or input to switch the Tartarus from one set of functions to another (ie. the 19 keys are great but 38 would be better). So in my mind, if I can use the Fn key on my keyboard or ctrl or alt or shift or whatever, it would tell Tartarus to do something different for the 13th key than the bland 13th key without that addl input. I found an article on Razer's website about secondary functionalities, but it seemed out of date because I couldn't reproduce it. Thanks.
Hi all. Amazing to me there's a subreddit for everything. I've been using personal GV phone/web since around 2008 as my primary/only number. I work remotely and use GV web to make and receive phone calls throughout my shift, and have done so for almost a decade. Well, now my work is making us use a VPN. And the VPN appears to block VoIP connections. However, randomly (about 1/3 the time), GV works normally even when on the VPN: I can make and receive calls no problem. I can't figure out what is informing this behavior. Any ideas?
Also, just fyi, there's nothing international in this setup. Working from Chicago, VPN is based in Florida. Thanks in advance.
