If that means delegating the strategy & playcalling to someone better while you make sure the athletes are as motivated as possible, then he is doing a great job.

I think we'll see his true football IQ and operational management this season with a stack of power 5 opponents. He's giving some Ted Lasso vibes and that will work with young college kids but won't do much when leveraging a salary cap.
