So I've got Jury Duty at Sheffield Crown court but never worked in the city so not sure what's around.
Anyone got any recommendations for anything tasty and cheap (you get naff all meal allowance) nearby so I'm not just going a Tesco meal deal every day?

sarnis is a nice traditional cafe just down from cathedral on high st good full english, and bacon&egg sarnis ect,
feast does decent paninis on west bar end of queen st,
kommune is just up the road too but it can be pricey in there

When I did jury service I went to the burrito place in tk maxx a few times. Eventually I started bringing my own lunch and then taking the 6 pound whateveritis lunch allowance as a profit instead
That burrito place is underrated, great food

Take your own lunch and then claim for lunch allowance. But they won't let you take a fork in. You can ask for one while you're there though.

Try the fat cat in Kelham island. No nonsense food at reasonable prices.

A bit of a walk but Marmadukes on Norfolk Street or Tamper sellers wheel on Arundel Street.

There's a great bagel place by orchard sq, gf used to go there for lunch on Fridays a lot! Cafe tucci is supposed to be fantastic too!
QCs bagels! Highly recommend
Don't worry, I think they give you bread and water.
QCs bagels is great, so is Humpit if you like falafel.
Some nice strip clubs also
I went to wig and pen.. They do a few lunch menu itema which are amazingly the price of your lunch credit 🤣. Tasty too
