529 vs Scholarship Refund

My wife is currently enrolled in nursing school. We paid for the current semester via a 529 she had set up by her parents years ago. One of her professor submitted her name for a scholarship, which she won and received $800.

Are we required to put this into the 529? Hoping to put it towards $8000 in CC debt, if it’s a viable option.
