INCOMING DISTRESS CALL — OUTPOST 30

"We killed another one of those Things today. Someone caught Dangerhaz messing with our bloodtests a few days ago, and the crew eventually agreed that it was too suspicious to let stand. He didn't go down without a fight though, destroying a few tables and barricades we made to the base before we could overpower him."

[...]

"I was really hoping that was the last of the Things, but we found Outraged-Piglet's body this morning, body crushed into a ball of human flesh, bones and blood right in front of my bedroom door. That leaves just 5 original crew left from Outpost 30."

[...]

"...That's it, I guess. Nothing's changed. We're making progress with getting rid of the Things, but with so little people left... Now would be a really good time for that rescue crew to show up... If there's anyone listening."

[...]

"...We're still alive, y'know. Even if you refuse to answer, there has to be someone listening. We're not giving up. There are still good, honest people here, fighting for their lives. Even if you don't pick up, I'll keep calling. We don't deserve to die."

"This is Lead Meteorologist Rye. Expect another distress call tomorrow. I won't give up until you send help."
