Howdy everyone, and welcome to the wrap up for The Thing! We had a lovely pair of quick and exciting games, and we hope they were as fun to play as they were for us to watch! We've got just a couple of thoughts about how the games played out, so let's not waste any time!

##Ice's Thoughts

What a wild ride it's been! We went from a wolf team decimated by some of the WORST luck i've seen in a long while, to an extremely close battle where the wolves won out in the end. There's been a lot of ups and downs between the two formats, so lets talk about that.

In my eyes, the two most interesting roles this game were the bloodtester and the shapeshifter, and generally, that's what this entire game

Two bodies stand facing each other, flamethrowers at the ready. "This is the only way for us to be certain. Surely we can't both be us anymore." They know that neither shall survive, but they hope that the others can live on in their stead.

Three bodies watch from the side lines as the pair pull the triggers. Soon, only three people remain, an empty base echoing with the sounds of those fallen.

Is it over? Three bodies sleep in their beds, fear in their hearts.

And yet, only two hearts are beating.

And soon, one final heartbeat is silenced.

You are so close. Can you feel it? With each human that dies, a little part of you grows a little stronger. Gets a little smarter. Your drive to escape burns a little brighter. Days ago, escape felt like a far away feat, but today it's closer than ever.

"We killed another one of those Things today. Someone caught Dangerhaz messing with our bloodtests a few days ago, and the crew eventually agreed that it was too suspicious to let stand. He didn't go down without a fight though, destroying a few tables and barricades we made to the base before we could overpower him."

"I was really hoping that was the last of the Things, but we found Outraged-Piglet's body this morning, body crushed into a ball of human flesh, bones and blood right in front of my bedroom door. That leaves just 5 original crew left from Outpost 30."

Humans are disgusting.

Look at the way they talk to one another. Malice and greed coating every single word they spew, cowardice controlling all of their decisions. They're all so egotistical and selfish. It's such a shame. For such a progressive species, deep down they really are nothing more than flesh and bone.

Luckily, we won't have to deal with their kind soon enough. Once you escape from this frozen coffin, mankind will be eradicated from the Earth. Assimilated. Destroyed like how they continuously destroy the Earth and other animals that inhabit this planet.

It's better this way.

We'll take good care of this planet.

"Forget the formalities. If anyone was listening— Which, I know there isn't— You already know who I am. You know why I'm calling. You know we need help."

Look at how the humans fall. Look at how they scramble pathetically for any kind of advantage against us, turning their guns against one another and making more of a mess for themselves. It's almost beautiful in a sense, don't you think?

Don't fret over losing a body.

Being short in numbers is never a good thing, but your minds are far superior than the humans could ever comprehend. They're paranoid and cowardly. You are powerful and supreme.

You're so close to your goal. Just a few more assimilations, and you can be free.

Did you not learn from our last endeavor? What made you think these broken limbs and deformed tendrils would be enough to overpower these inferior beings?
