I work in graphic design / motion design and have been hunting for a 27" 1440p too... 

Have you seen the Asus Pro Art range? Seems to be budget friendly and claims to be colour calibrated out the box.

Does anyone have a Pro Art and can advise if it lives up to its marketing for our kind of work?

I'm looking to buy a new monitor, preferably OLED and 27".  Resolution wise, I'm thinking 1440P is fine with my Mac. I also wouldn't want to spend more than a 1000eu, because I don't have to be color accurate and it would also be nice if I can use it with my XBOX to play some games.

I'm currently thinking of getting the 27" 240hz LG Ultragear OLED display and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it or if there's things I should look out for.
