Transcription Request

Hi All -

A few weeks ago I posted about an elderly gentleman who recently lost his wife, asking my wife to help him with a letter he found in shorthand. u/BerylPratt suggested that I post some excerpts to see if anyone was able to recognize the type, and would be able to transcribe for me.

Original Post

If anyone is able to decipher this, we would be grateful, and I hope bring some joy to an elderly man and help him deal with his loss.

The letter is 7 pages long, He indicated that he had no clue of the contents, and I think if it was anything upsetting, I'd say we couldn't get it transcribed.

Due to the confidential and unknow nature, please PM me rather than posting contents here.

Thank you!
