Spec Souleater Nightmare
The Community guide mentioning the control of the boundless mana state through not having mana tripods. Does that mean that spec souleater wants to enter boundless mana for more spamming like empress arcana and than for the z-burst go in full-mana mode for the damage boost? And If yes can u maintain boundless mana comfy or is hallu overall better? I love the green skills and want to go spec but If it's slow i dont know

You ideally want to be in Magick Addiction during burst, and Boundless during build phase.
The problem is, you have no easy way of going in and out of these states on demand, so you're likely going to enter boundless during burst or having to wait to get out of boundless to burst, neither situation is ideal.
Party composition, food, etc. can also screw/help you achieve these things, while Hallucination is just much more consistent with basically no downsides.
Worth noting an overwhelmingly high percentage of the top 50 Souleaters on Loawa use Nightmare. Doesn't necessarily mean it's "correct" or that their situation is the same as ours (could just be really nice for Theamine or post-elixir) but food for thought.
Most top ranks are highly invested characters with perfect stones, bracelets, etc. They also commonly chase the highest ceiling builds for that sweet damage per screenshot metric
The thing is that the top player nearly always play statics with perfect sync like crit buff. I will play mostly in static too but i will try Nightmare and If it doesnt work switch to halu ty
people always want the higher ceiling build, especially the higher content they get to.
Do you have an idea how much damage difference these 2 sets provide? I heard nightmare has a higher ceiling but based on your explanation you could get fucked and perhaps it's not worth it
Without synergies and assuming the same burst cycle Hallucination should do more damage. Once you add crit synergies the Nightmare has a higher ceiling
