[2215] fantasy-romance prologue

Hello, I am posting this prologue from my story to get some critique on my writing style, prose, pacing. etc. A lot of people have great story ideas, but I feel that not a lot of people can write. So, I would really like some honest feedback mostly on my writing style so I can improve and eventually be able to write my book. note: I did not post the full prologue cause I don't want to burden readers with too much, but feedback on what is provided is appreciated.
