Use pvpoke. And don't play master league

you should repost this with the movesets, people would be able to help better. I’d recommend doing ultra league or great league for now if those are your highest cp tbh

Master League will be almost entirely filled with maxed out or close to maxed out legendaries. It is not a good place to start pvp. You can use the website pvpoke to check rankings, grade teams, look at best move sets, etc. I recommend starting with GL or UL though. Master League is the domain of whales and 7 year veterans who have loads of xl candies accumulated

Let alone the fact that lineup isn't best matchup BUT your pokemon are way way too under leveled for Master League. Play any other league.

This lineup will be murdered in ML.

If you don’t have level 50 legendaries don’t play ML.

The only real proven non legendary team is dragonite, excadrill, metagross, if you can max those 3

the best pokemon in master league tend to be maxed out legendaries (costing 296 xl candy per legendary), which is incredibly difficult for a lot of people to realistically ever achieve.

i dont mean this in a rude way, but its hard to ignore cp when looking for what the team is missing - this is the equivalent of trying to drive a car without an engine. you really do want to max out your mons in master league (or at least level 40 if your ranking is pretty low). aside from this, swampert is not the greatest pokemon in master league, and melmetal & dragonite can be difficult to use correctly if youre not too familiar with pvp because of the self-debuff from superpower. this team also falls apart when up against some pretty common pokemon. pick two mons out of ho-oh, mewtwo, zacian, dialga, kyogre, groudon, rayquaza, giratina origin, and xerneas, and any two combinations you choose could probably threaten all three mons on your team.

i highly recommend trying great league first, since its generally the least expensive format to build a team in, both in stardust and xl candy costs.

Master league is for whales.

Cp is the main issue. In fact the only one that can get a decently high cp is dragonite. It’s a weird team because it has a high ranking great league mon ( swampert), ultra league Mon ( melmetal ), and a master league Mon ( dragonite ). If you powered them all up you might have an ok team, but you can do better I’m sure. I’d say the larger issue is that master league is filled with whales that can max out their mewtwos and other high cp mons.

Only the line up information isn't enough to know is it bad or not, does it have 2 moves each? Does it have great iv, how high is your rank, etc.

The main thing that easy to spot is your cp is too low for master league, especially if you are trying to go above rank 20, you won't win against player on that rank cause most of them have cp around 4000+, with all 2 moves, and great iv, plus meta pokemon for it.

Go lower league if you want better chance in winning

The advice about looking at PVPoke, needing to see movesets is correct. And generally the comments about being underpowered are also correct.

HOWEVER, as someone new to PVP, you probably aren't going to be very good in any case, so you're not going to be battling against legends all the time. And that means you *can* play in master league without L50 hundos. Look at the rankings of ML mons, find ones where you have a 96% IV or higher, make sure they have the right moves (and if you don't have both charge moves, make sure they have the two- or three-bar one first), power them up to L40.

Since XL candies are so hard to come by, I don't power up mons past L40 unless I know the candies won't be wasted (that almost always means a hundo).

There *are* going to be matches that you just can't win, and your ability to climb above ELO 2000 / L20 will be limited, but you'll be able to practice and earn dust. And over time, you'll slowly be able to get the L50 mons other posters are demoralizing you about.

Just going to throw in that on top of what everyone else said, moveset is extremely important. Want to stress that what is meta in raids and rocket battles, doesn't work in PVP a lot of the times (with relation to both Pokemon and moveset). You will also need to have the second charge move unlocked.

If you want further suggestions, you are going to need to post your moveset for each party member.

You should play great or ultra league unfortunately

Puntoize•

It's not bad.

But they're too low.

and I believe only Dragonite is on the top 25 best mons for Master League.

So there's that.

Team itself isn't good. And anyways U should have lvl50 mons for ml. If it too expensive just try sl. It's much cheaper

I play Master League a bit, but it can just be kind of boring. The other leagues are more fun, more of an intellectual challenge, especially the ones where you're restricted to certain types. Master League is mostly just battering each other silly.

That Swampert might form the core of an Ultra League team, defending on the moves you give it, and bring it up towards 2500cp. I've usually got a Swampert in my Great League and Ultra League teams. They're very useful.

Maybe baby

My advice is not to play Master League and focus on other leagues. Your teams is heavily underleveled. You won't fair well, sorry to say that. Great league is propably the cheapest to build for (aside from exceptions like Medicham), so try your luck there.
