I'm one of them. They're fine. This ain't a world a sane person wants to be sober in.

I've heard if you smoke weed as a starter everyday it will get you high but as time passes eit dosen't give pleasure as it used to.

Well as long as your behavior doesn’t affect me I don’t care what you do. But i certainly don’t think it’s a healthy way to live. I think people would feel better and such if they didn’t do that so often. Ultimately it’s not my business tho.

They probably aren’t aware of the ways in which these substances are changing outcomes in their lives. Maybe it feels like functioning but it’s more like they are getting by when they could be thriving. They are probably failing to form memories, failing to deal with negative emotions, and failing to learn hard things as effectively as they might otherwise be able to do.

I'd prefer they stick to public transport, so there's absolutely zero chance of driving while still being impaired the next morning. Otherwise, they're golden.

This is what I do. I heavily advise this to other people too if they happen to be in the same boat (whether you have a positive or negative view on the situation).

I think very highly of myself, thank you. But in all seriousness, I hold a stable high-paying job and am high for most of the workday (I work from home).

Why do you want to be impaired all day

I don’t want to. Being high is more than just being impaired, and I don’t really get impaired unless I have too much. Everybody’s body reacts differently to weed, so don’t take this as advice to do that if it doesn’t work for you or your situation.

I’m autistic and micro-dosing edibles make me MUCH less sensitive to external stimuli. I’m more impaired without it.

I feel the same way and am also autistic

I microdose alcohol for the medicinal effects

Do whatever works best for you. Just be aware of any risks and consider those in your evaluations.

Good for them.

I was abused by weed addicts so it's a deal breaker. You do you, while completely out of my life.

So long as people pay taxes and don’t fuck / fuck with anyone they shouldn’t, I couldn’t care less what they do.

The drinking will catch up to them. Smoking ain’t shit

I have yet to meet one

No special judgment really, but 1) I’ve yet to meet one who’s as functional as they claim they are, 2) I’m not trusting their self-assessment if the lives of myself or any loved ones to their care, and 3) the two most notable cases I personally know had extreme nervous breakdowns in the last year - one went to rehab and seems to be doing better, the other didn’t and seems to be spiraling. Only two examples but long-term it seems to be a losing game…

Each to his own. I don't drink or smoke weed but I invested in a weed company when it was dirt cheap so yeah.......smoke it up ya'll and buy more.

I work construction in the day and hacker at night, so I rip bong in the evening before jumping on bug bounty. Sometimes I slip edibles into work, almost everyone I know in the fields use weed.

It can't continue forever. Addiction will affect their performance for sure.
