My Top List for Vietnamese Food in NYC (from a Vietnamese) - 2 Years Update
Hi folks,
The original post and discussions are here.
Discussion at 6 months update is here.
Discussion at 1 Year update is here.
Discussion at 18 Months update is here.
There are interesting questions and answers that other Redditors have provided in the past, and to prevent the same questions from coming up. But again, I will still offer my humble opinion on recommendations or food in Vietnam.
So I won't repeat myself a lot here. For context, I spent 16 years with my folks in Hanoi before moving to the States 11 years ago. This list went on to this level of detail now because of this community. And I thank you for it.
The list has stayed somewhat the same. "Em Kitchen (not bistro)" made the list. I'm doing a detailed write-up on them. For all the entries that did not get a detailed post, I gave a brief comment next to each entry so you get a sense of how I go about it. This is my personal take so please, disagree with me.
And yes, for all the folks hounding me for the Avenue U, I still haven't got to it. It's so damn far away from where I live. And It's not like I can hop around more than 1 restaurant at a time.
The link is the same and will be updated on a monthly basis:
