I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Pulte might have given him the cash for that to happen.
No way Kais had that cash; I'm sure it's Pulte's. There was one point that Pulte said something about giving some of them a share of stock, and Kais said, "No we're going to give everyone here a share!" and Pulte got a surprised look on his face and said something like, "wow. that's a lot of people." I think Kais worked him.

I dunno, it's a very "Kais" idea.. and potentially illegal. Pulte has been smart enough to distance himself from being directly involved in many ape shenanigans.

You're probably right, I just was suspicious of him having extra 20k in liquidity. If every ape took him up on it and there were 200 apes that's over 20k. PHM at 104 rn.
I imagine, aside from the proxy requirement, there were terms not mentioned on stage. Perhaps he is making them buy X shares each and THEN he will give them $104?
