What happened to Quick Play? It feels like I'm playing with bots.

There's bots all over the game atm, and Riot really needs to do something to clean it up. Games full of bots right now.

My friends and i play norms and qp and qp definitely has worse players.

Like we genuinely start memeing because its free wins.

I as rakan flashed, w, shurelyia, ulted across the the map to chase someone because they were free. We ran from bot to mid lane, killed them and then i continued running into mid at the yasuo who had prio and didnt notice we had chased his tristana into his mid tower. We killed him too.

Im not a good player (im bronze my friends are like silver to emerald)

But the eneny literally stands still and doesnt move so you just kill them on repeat.

Vs in normal draft where we usually get players who arent new.

That’s Riots goal. Remove all communication, add FF on 15 min. In 2 years game will feel like single player with bots, sometimes it already feels like.

Doesn’t riot match make people with same around the same skill? Therefore you’re as skilled as a bot. The real question is should that offend you or the bots more?

Its quickplay, I think that mode is there for people to try whatever and not care too much. If you want “real games” go draft or ranked

I also noticed that. The players in this mode are really bad. Like, yesterday i was playing morgana sup with a senna adc. I noticed she couldn't last hit the minions, so i started farming with her to no waste the gold coming from the minions. What was even more awful was the fact that the enemy botlane was a jinx adc with a cait sup and both of them were also bad, both were farming and they almost made no effort to dodge my Q's. When the match ended i checked their profiles to see their elos and i got surprised at how a bunch of them were unranked (Senna, cait, jinx as well as an akali that was playing in that same match). That was just one of an array of weird matches i've been playing in this mode.

I felt like they're newbies who are still learning the game, and with that in mind, i didn't bother with their weird gameplay, despite that sometimes i wanted to flame them because of how dumb and unaware they are. But realizing now they can be bots is uncanny.

It is indeed vs AI mode , just against real humans.

Quick play is full of bots. Like, it’s essentially co-op vs AI, except your team are also bots. Riot will ban those accounts when they’ll get sold to people for a few bucks (assuming they still do that), but they refuse to actually deal with the issue.

I guess all those bots mindlessly spamming quick play is good for the engagement numbers or something.

I get mostly master and diamond players in my quick play games which I found interesting because back when I played in blind pick, there was definitely more variation of different ranks in my games.

Lots of actual bots in the game recently even in norms and ranked they don’t talk they don’t farm they don’t kill and they don’t surrender they walk around aimlessly shooting at minions with full health the entire game and building multiples of the same items even if it doesn’t scale with their abilities it doesn’t matter to them

I recently moved from Draft to quickplay since I only play 1-3champions anyway. And I second this. In 3 Games I had one where no one was higher then lvl 40(im at 230) and they also played like that. I went 26/2 and we ended 27 to 5. It wasnt fun for anyone involved and also a game where i had an Dia player in my team and 3 emeralds in the enemy team(I am currently Silver 2).

Also one with an Illaoi Jgl who was convinced that not hitting E is no big deal on her. So idk. Games are weird but if you have to farm S/S+ for masterys its more coinflip then skill so kind od easier

Tbh. I feels like suddenly EVERYWHERE has a bunch of awful players. Imo it feels like the hierarchy should be something like this “qp > norms > norms draft > ranked” but you have people who either don’t know anything or folks trying to play a champ for the first time, even in draft or ranked!

Don’t even get me started on the amount of idiots running around with boosted accounts.
