Chrome Crashing on Large Sites, and No Profile Isolation
So I have a couple of issues with Chrome right now. I've have a pretty powerful computer AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with 64GB of memory on Windows 10.
When loading some webpages, discourse forums or documentation that have a ton of data such as https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/qm.1.html which looking at it now isn't all that much. But doing the typical google search where you open the first 10 results, I'll find a page with lots of data that will lock up Chrome. I started looking at plugins as the cause, but even in an incognito window with no extensions or a guest profile, it will cause the issue.
The second issue is when this does occur, I have three other profiles open, and they're non-responsive too. I end up having to kill Chrome, which kills all instances of Chrome.
I'm pulling my hair out because I have to work on some specific site that does this constantly and it causes all my chrome instances to be nuked.
I've also got an RTX 4070. Should I be enabling anything in Chrome to take advantage of this? Having used Chrome for years, I feel like I've never dug deep to tune it to perform on large amounts of data.
