My plan to retire at 33
Let’s start strong.I am 29 male $9500 in credit card debt. I recently feel I’m having a different perspective on life where I’m feeling more hopeful and confident. Also, last week my friend asked me out of desperation to help him shoot a music video. It was probably not good, but he told me in a natural with camera angles. And he’s been working full time in his music career for 8 years.
So I’m thinking to go balls to the wall with overtime (I will make ~$4500 a month net), pay off debt, and work towards having 30k saved after purchasing: a van, starter professional setup as far as a camera, accessories and a MacBook Pro.
At which point I’d take the dive and figure out if I’m Going to rent an apt or live in the van, in brooklyn. My life focus would be my faith, my health, and honing my craft. I want to be happy with as little as possible and own my possessions, own my life and never do anything for someone else because I had to.
