Let’s start strong.I am 29 male $9500 in credit card debt. I recently feel I’m having a different perspective on life where I’m feeling more hopeful and confident. Also, last week my friend asked me out of desperation to help him shoot a music video. It was probably not good, but he told me in a natural with camera angles. And he’s been working full time in his music career for 8 years.

So I’m thinking to go balls to the wall with overtime (I will make ~$4500 a month net), pay off debt, and work towards having 30k saved after purchasing: a van, starter professional setup as far as a camera, accessories and a MacBook Pro.

At which point I’d take the dive and figure out if I’m Going to rent

Bear with me bc this sounds crazy, but ultimately I’m thinking of getting an iPhone 6s and giving my 13 to my niece, in an effort to quit social media and also be a chill uncle.

Correct me if I’m wrong but you can’t use any social media on a 6s because it isn’t supported anymore, but I’d still be able to use what I need like GPS and browser. Is it possible someone can help me pick the best phone to “go dark” with? I want it to be as new as possible while not being supported by apple. I’m pretty sure the current borderline is the 7? But I need to confirm before deciding, that the phone will:

A) be able to access maps, browser

B) not be able to access instagram, facebook, tik tok, Reddit,

The 15 pro clearly lost to the 14 pro due to the change in material. But I think it’s a moot point. It doesn’t need to be indestructible. And a lighter phone is a good trade for resistance from 10 ft drops, or whatever. With a case im sure a 15 pro is fine for every day use.

This may sound like some fan boy shit but to be honest I’m not even too enthusiastic about the current gen anyway. I do think the titanium was a good call though. 13 and 14 pro feels like a brick in your hand
