Home health care

My dad is a retired RN. He currently is going through radiation for tumors he has in his brain. It’s the fifth week since his last treatment and he can’t walk at all. I’ve been wanting to set him up with home health care, but he told me home health care cannot be set up because he is a RN. Is this accurate? It is the first time I have heard of this.
