Mini Fridge Not Cooing

Hello, Appliance Repair community! 😃

I have a question about a mini fridge (Arctic King 3.3 cu |model number: AFRM033AE)

So I have a mini fridge that ended up leaking water on the floor, because it stopped cooling.

Yeah, there was a lot of ice in the freezer part (of the mini fridge), so when it leaked, it leaked all over the floor.

I looked up some YouTube videos, for the specific model, and they said it was because the thermometer wire thing was hooked up near the freezer part. The videos suggested that I place the thermometer wire to a different area, so I did. But I had to wait for the freezer to thaw completely, because the wire was frozen in a giant block ice. 🙁

after I did that, I closed the door, and decided to wait for it to get cool again.

It didn't get cool.

For whatever reason, The refrigerator isn't making ANY noise, which seems like a bad sign because it always makes noise.

During this entire process, of me trying to let the frigde thaw (so I can get to the thermometer wire), I unplugged the fridge a few times just to plug it back in (mainly because I wanted to know if there was a problem with the outlet).

Is there another problem that could make the fridge not cool? Is there anything I could buy, or toggle, if it is not running?
