Hello, Windows Help Community!

Two days ago, on the 7th of November, I was able to successfully install update 24h2 on my desktop computer. And yesterday I tried to install update 25h2.

Now this is what I want you guys to keep in mind. That WHOLE DAY, on the 7th, I was able to use my computer. My computer ran with the Windows 24h2 update. Yeah, it's about to get weird. Just keep reading! 😟

Now, on the 8th of October, yesterday, I attempted to install the 25h2 update. The download of 25h2 went well, but the installation is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORY! 😱

Once I restarted my computer, so that my computer could install update 25h2, I received an odd message. The message said, "Undoing

Hello, Tax Community!

Last year, in 2024, I was part of a mass arbitration concerning a streaming service that was selling information to a third party. I ended up with just a little over $9 from the settlement.

Do I file this with 1099-misc? Or is this supposed to be reported on ANOTHER 1099?

Please let me know!

Hello! I have a question about survey rewards received in cash (via PayPal).

Am I supposed to report survey rewards on 1099-K, too? Is it seen as a service?e?

I mean, I don't work for the survey sites, I just complete surveys for cash, and they give me the cash via PayPal. But does that count as something that needs to be reported on 1099-K?

Am I supposed to report survey rewards on 1099-K, too? Is it seen as service?

Hello, Samsung community!

I was hoping that with RAM Plus enabled, I could download apps that Google says my phone isn't compatible with. My Android version meets the requirements, but I need more RAM in order to download apps that need 4GB RAM in order to run.

Whenever I see an app that says it needs 4GB to run, Google Play says that my phone isn't compatible and just doesn't give me the option to download it! 😟

Could you please help me? What do I need to do to make the option to download the app, in the Google Play Store, available?

Hello!

Today, I ended up getting a product shipped to my house to test and review.

I haven't done it yet, but if I were to keep any of the stuff they used to ship the product to me in (like the shipping box, the bubble wrap, ice pack, etc.) and use it for personal use, would I owe taxes on that?

They sent me something where they needed to use a reusable ice pack in order to get the product to me in one piece. If I were to keep that shipping material, for personal use, would I owe taxes? The reusable ice pack seems neat! But it's not worth it if I would owe taxes on the shipping material.

Please let me know! 😃

Hello, Appliance Repair community! 😃

I have a question about a mini fridge (Arctic King 3.3 cu |model number: AFRM033AE)

So I have a mini fridge that ended up leaking water on the floor, because it stopped cooling.

Yeah, there was a lot of ice in the freezer part (of the mini fridge), so when it leaked, it leaked all over the floor.

I looked up some YouTube videos, for the specific model, and they said it was because the thermometer wire thing was hooked up near the freezer part. The videos suggested that I place the thermometer wire to a different area, so I did. But I had to wait for the freezer to thaw completely, because the wire was frozen in a giant block ice. 🙁

after I did that,

If I agree to test a product, for a company, and they send me their product to test for money, do I owe tax on the product they sent too? Or do I only owe tax on the incentive they gave me for testing the product?
