Channeling Kpop idol obsession positively
So a few years ago when I was in a bad mental state, I was looking for some new kind of music. Wasn't new to kpop, but then I discovered a trending group called Blackpink. The music was not bad, but Jisoo caught my eye immediately. This led me to watch more videos and I ended up liking the group more and more, but still focused around Jisoo.
Fast forward to now, I am big fan of the group and the music, Jisoo still the center of everything. I've heard of how hard they she had to work (everyone in kpop in general does, but still) to get to the top, how people criticized Jisoo early on, her caring personality etc and it is inspiring where she is now. I used this as motivation to work harder, dream bigger in life.
Until recently, when Jisoo's Alo photoshoot dropped. I was always aware, but this time it just hit me in a different way, how out of the world beautiful she is. And now the photos from Cartier event and I just can't take it anymore. I think I crossed the line from being a fan to something else. I am totally obsessed, but I am trying to keep my head straight. I want to use this new set of emotions into working even harder, but I don't know how while keeping my sanity. Not sure if this all even made sense to anyone. Any advice?
