2-Month Hold on Celsius Distribution? Unjustified Blacklisting of Addresses? Poorly Executed Service!

I am not a Coinbase customer, so I am hoping someone can help.

My mother had her Celsius distribution yesterday and later that night we sat down together to transfer the funds to the exchange she is familiar with but the transaction was rejected by Coinbase and the account suddenly restricted from sending crypto (when choosing the Send/Receive button).

We contacted support who told her it was a "temporary restriction" and "you will be able to resume sending cryptocurrency on 2024-04-15."

When asked what triggered this they told us it was because the address we attempted to send to was blacklisted and when this occurs they put a 60 day restriction on accounts. We asked if there was a way to prove those addresses were legitimate and were given a secure file location to upload screen grabs of the other exchange and deposit addresses.

After uploading the files a second customer service agent told her: "Your account status is under review. Although we can't provide specific details, a variety of factors related to security and legal requirements are being considered. Please note that we can't guarantee a change to your current account status, and any decision based on our review will be final."

This sounds terrible, non-specific, and frightening for my mom.

Is anyone familiar with this?
