Wool or Linen? Which was more valuable during the industrial revolution?

Art

I'm working on a board game with an early industrial theme, mainly canal transport. A large element of the game is about transporting flax, wool and their respective textiles. I want to include both, but as it stands they are functionally the same and I would like there to be a difference in cost/ supply / demand/ ease of manufacture/comparative volume needed/ anything else to make things more interesting.

The only info I've been able to find when trying to compare Linnen and Wool, is the fact that it was all eclipsed by cotton. Cotton isn't part of the game, in part because it has more nefarious implications than the other two.

I'd also love to hear anything else that anyone knows about these two industries, because I can't seem to get much info that isn't immediately derailed by cotton.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer these niche questions.
