Trip in Milan

Trip Report

Hello everyone 👋

Some days ago, I posted here asking for some advice for my trip to Italy. You all were very helpful and informed me with some great advices.

Now I have returned and I would like to mention some things.

Such a lovely city, with so much history behind it. Some said that 4 nights were more than enough but my type of vacation required at least another 4 nights. I don’t want to rush things I want to enjoy the walks, the museums , the restaurants and generally to observe how the city goes along, I want to feel like I’m from the place I visit and I try to move along the locals.

But, I would like to mention that the locals, at least the guys that we had communication (taxi drivers, random people in the street what we asked directions even people that worked in restaurants) weren’t exactly very welcoming. I was, obviously, a tourist and they made me feel I wasn’t welcome there.

I heard that the northern Italy isn’t very welcoming but I’ve never thought that much, I heard the southern Italy is more welcoming and more friendly.

Anyway it was a beautiful place and a nice trip, I would like to visit it again.

Now I have plans for Rome 🇮🇹, when the time arrives I will ask again for some tips for my trip 😁.

Thanks.
