[TOMT][Horror Movie][Stuck in a Village]

I found this comment under a YT video, and I am now curious too. Here's the full comment with some light edits for clarity:

"I have a movie that I swear it is the best cosmic horror movie of all time. I watched it when I was a child but can’t seem to remember what the name is. It foretakes place with a young couple in their 20s that sets out and packs their stuff to drive across country I think. They where traveling and at some point as they're driving past the tree like roads they end up on an old abandoned road that set them to park and walk amongst it due to their curiosity. This gives like a Spirited Away kinda feel like when the little girl goes with her parents.

Anyway, the couple passes and parks their truck before the bridge and walk past it only to come into a different place where the culture was mid-evil times like a old village and the people where different. The longer they stayed there they didn’t notice that everything around them was turning black and white and things where starting to happen almost like a force trying to keep the couple apart and they couldn’t find their way back.

They eventually discovered that there were monsters there and the only way back was through the bridge and they could not look back because if they did they would be stuck there forever. As they were running to the other side the monster was going to get the girl and the guy pushed her and told her to keep running and not look back and as she did she could hear the monster devouring her boyfriend and with tears in her eyes she made it past to the other side where the truck was and instantly didn’t hear the noise behind her. When she turned around all it was was an empty side of the other side of the bridge and her boyfriend and monsters and village was gone."
