I had my first doctor's appointment about peri-menopause and menopause symptoms. I did a LOT of reading on this sub and gather up all of the tips & tricks you all have shared. I was a bit skeptical tbh because it was a "new to me" doctor AND a guy. I shared all my symptoms with him and stated upfront I'm interested in starting HRT. He listened! He said was absolutely fine prescribing HRT and then reviewed additional approaches that might help such as pelvic floor PT, mental health care etc. I said I also have an appointment with Midi tomorrow and he asked that I talk to them too and then let him know if I'd prefer to work with Midi or with him. I am 100% certain the appointment wouldn't have gone nearly as well without this sub.
