PA State Grant and my balance

Discussion

Hey folks! First time posting on here good to see y’all.

I’ve been trying to make sense of my balance for my first year so I can help understand things more once it comes time to actually go to college and it got me curious.

I checked my LionPath finance area and went to look at my account and it didn’t factor in my PA State grant as anticipated aid, which would be another 2,630 bucks or so for this semester alone and I could use the 7 grand in private loans I got to sweep through my necessary costs that remained… however, here it isn’t factored in!

And then I read that it will apply on the 10th week of class approximately, so it scared me a bit. That messed up my plan a bit, how am I gonna cover that balance when it won’t even be disbursed to my account until probably well after the initial due date?

Yeah this is a bit long for a first post but this distressed me a bit. Am I missing something here? What can I do about all of this to cover those costs if the state grant will only come 10 weeks in?
