I don’t want them to update the deathwatch models

I’m probably gonna sound like a total schizo here, but I don’t want them to update the deathwatch models any more. Now you might be thinking wtf, why don’t you want GW to update the deathwatch models? It’s mainly out of fear of how much they are going to ruin the kits when update them

As an example, the deathwatch veterans kit is what I would consider, one of the best space marine kits out there. It has lots of weapon options, cool and unique bits and pieces for you to take, it's just an awesome kit overall, even for non deathwatch players.

But if they ever were to update them, I fear how much GW is going to take away from them. Yes, they would be updated to be true scale by space marines (let's be honest, that's what primaris marines were meant to be in the first place), but at what cost?

What fun weapon options are the gonna take away from them? They could reduce them to just be a bunch of boltgun and sword guys, with maybe a heavy weapon. And it's making me fear how much they are going to take away their bits.

How much of their cool flair is gonna get reduced to being basic mark x body, and what about all their chapter specific shoulder pads? Are they gonna remove those and just give them regular shoulder pads, they're probably going to excuse by saying “just use transfers”.

Again, this is probably me just being an overboard schizo, but GW is just not making me think positively about deathwatch anymore. It doesn't help easy my mind either considering, 1. How much they have butchered deathwatch rules wise, and 2. How their recent 40K model releases like the new sanguinary guard have been terrible.

I don’t want them to make kits like the veterans into glorified intercessor reskins (like the new blood angels death company). I just don’t want deathwatch to be pissed on even more then they already have, by not only making their rules terrible now, but now by also having terribly bland and boring kits, that no one gives a crap about.

I’m probably just being a negative weirdo, but I just wanna express my distrust towards GW now. I just can’t see myself viewing them in a positive light anymore (not that I even did in the first place). I’ll still cling onto hope that somehow, things will get better for deathwatch. But at this point, that’s just my cope giving me make-believe.
