Table for drinks and food with this couch?

I have a Tara sectional from Havertys in an L shape in the middle of the room. Each of the sections recline and have a foot rest Since it reclines, having a console table behind the couch for drinks and food does not work. The coffee table I have in front of it has a top that comes up and toward the couch but it is still too far out to comfortably hold drinks and food. The foot rests need room to swing out.

I could do some side tables but how the couch is positioned in the room they would block off some walking paths. Side tables also don't work if I am sitting near the middle. I also have a larger dog that likes to jump up from the side of the couch as she comes into the area. The 'U' shaped tables that go under a section and go over the seating portion don't work since the base of the powered recliner block the base of those 'U' tables.

The best solution I have found is something that goes between the sectionals like this tray. It's smaller than I would like and I am worried the dog moving around would still knock it over.

Is there any other solutions or larger tray options for this?
